Warehouse & Logistics
79 tools
Warehouse automation includes AMRs, AGVs, conveyors and sortation, goods-to-person systems and AS/RS. Select from order profile, SKU mix, peak throughput, travel distance, storage and building constraints, then verify WMS/WES integration, manual exception handling, charging, fire safety, deployment time and scaling.

FAQ
AMR vs AGV — what's the difference?
AGVs usually rely on predefined routes or guidance infrastructure; AMRs localize and plan paths. Real products may combine QR codes, reflectors, lidar or vision, so choose by environmental stability, traffic rules and maintenance capability.
Typical payback for warehouse robots?
Use your warehouse's order variability, labor change, error rate, lease or purchase cost, software integration, site changes, maintenance and peak scaling. Vendor case studies do not replace a measured baseline.
Should small warehouses automate?
Order volume is not the only threshold. A smaller site with long travel or labor constraints may still benefit, while a large site with unstable processes or inaccurate inventory should fix those foundations first.
