- Does the site need goods-to-person robots, picking arms or both?
- Can the system integrate with the current WMS and operate around people safely?
When not to automate yet

- Stable routes, measurable order volume and repeatable SKUs
- Sites with clear WMS ownership and exception handling
- Pilots that include peak traffic and replenishment
- Actual item dimensions, packaging and grasping exceptions
- Human handoff when a bin, route or robot is blocked
- Throughput after charging and recovery time are included
- A replacement for accurate stock data
- A profitable answer for very low volume
- A reason to skip process measurement
