NVIDIA Isaac GR00T is an open reference platform from NVIDIA for general-purpose humanoid robots. It combines open data and data pipelines, an open robot foundation model, simulation frameworks built on NVIDIA Omniverse and Cosmos, middleware, CUDA-X accelerated runtime libraries, and NVIDIA Jetson Thor for real-time robot inference and control. The cross-embodiment foundation models take multimodal input, including language and images, and are trained on real captured data, synthetic data, and internet-scale video data. They can be adapted through post-training for specific embodiments, tasks, and environments, supporting grasping, object manipulation, and multi-step tasks for use cases such as material handling, packaging, and inspection.
