Reality check

A demo shows what may be possible. These points help judge whether the product fits day-to-day use.

Works well when
  • Predictable delivery, cleaning or guidance routes
  • Sites with elevators, doors and handoff rules defined
  • Repetitive work where staff can handle exceptions
What to check
  • Navigation around guests, children and temporary obstacles
  • Charging, cleaning and refilling requirements
  • Actual handoff behavior when the route is blocked
Not a magic solution
  • A substitute for hospitality and human judgment
  • A guarantee of lower labor cost without workflow changes
  • A safe choice for an untested public environment

About

Unitree A2 has approximately 42 kg weight with batteries and 12 joint motors. Continuous walking load is about 25 kg; about 100 kg is the static standing limit. Unloaded and 25 kg loaded endurance are stated separately. The standard model is IP56; the PRO statement of IP56–IP67 identifies IP67 core components and must not be flattened to a uniform whole-body IP67 rating. Development is supported, but application-specific autonomy requires integration.
