ARI is a social and collaborative humanoid robot made by PAL Robotics for research and entertainment applications. It stands 165 cm tall, runs Ubuntu LTS with a real-time OS, and offers expressive motions, a 10.1-inch interactive touchscreen, social perception, and speech recognition and synthesis in more than 30 languages. It is used for customer assistance, promotional campaigns, education, healthcare and Human-Robot Interaction research, and can be customised through a web user interface and SDK.
